The same rules are not specified for use at the district court level, although prudence would suggest a reasonable attempt to adhere to the same practices.
Response
We are all presented with a new challenge of informing and being informed of developments and changes in the law that are represented by unpublished opinions. Toward this end, PATC will include short synopses of unpublished Court of Appeals opinions on criminal cases in the Annotations and on the Iowa County Attorneys Association web site (www.iowa-icaa.com).
In addition, we are in the process of obtaining electronic versions of unpublished Court of Appeals opinions for the last several years and will make those available in a searchable database form (either on CD-ROM or on the web site, or both) as soon as possible.
